Dan Patterson impressed me the first time I met him. Although I was an experienced superintendent at the time I was at a new company and as with any "new kid in town" I was tested by subcontractors to see how much I really knew. Dan was a plumber and I met him on a residential jobsite. He was friendly and helpful showing me the ways and methods of his craft.
That was in 1992. His qualities left an impression on me and I hired him as a construction superintendent in 1993. Since then Dan has fulfilled the duties of superintendent and construction manager. The knowledge he has gained in the last sixteen years in the pool industry is invaluable.
Dan can build just about any pool in any situation, including but not limited to, zero edge and negative edge pools. Dan is familiar with all equipment and systems controls. Dan can start up and trouble shoot any job with any situation.
Dan's role as a manager took him to a different level in pool construction. He was in charge of a group of superintendents, overall quality control, billing approval, and the most important customer service relations at the highest level. Dan was charged with the responsibility of turning even the most dissatisfied customer around and making them happy.
Dan Patterson is the epitome of the phrase "company man." I have never had a more loyal employee in my thirty three years in the pool industry. Dan would do anything for me and the company.
